Who is this course for?

This course is for professionals in education who would like to develop the skills and strategies necessary to effectively support SEND learners in school-based settings.

The course will be made available to participants for a period of one year from the date of enrolment and can be completed in the participant's own time.

The course would also assist SENCos, headteachers and leadership teams as they reflect on their SEND provision and offer advice to teachers, considering their strategies for supporting their SEND learners more effectively.

The cost of the course is £95.

What is a Level 3 Award?

A Level 3 course in the UK aims to provide education and training at an intermediate level, sufficiently broadening participants' knowledge to enable them to make use of that training independently within their own contexts.

While studying for the MHS Level 3 Award in Effective SEND Support, participants will broaden their understanding of the most common learning difficulties faced by both diagnosed and undiagnosed learners. They will use their training to identify and provide effective strategies as support for an individual SEND learner.

On completion of the course, participants will be granted the accredited MHS Level 3 Award in Effective SEND Support, together with 15 CPD points, issued by the Professional Development Consortium.
